Techstars Bangalore’s 1st accelerator program holds Demo Day for 10 startups.The final class of 10 startups is technology agnostic, and covers sectors including pharma, tech, healthcare, logistics, transportation, marketplaces, and fin-tech.
When Techstars decided to launch Techstars Bangalore. They received over 1000 applications from 30 countries around the world. Techstars Bangalore held its inaugural Demo Day on Thursday for 10 startups that were shortlisted.
The final class of 10 startups is technology agnostic, and covers sectors including pharma, tech, healthcare, logistics, transportation, marketplaces, and fin-tech. Common amongst the class, is an immediate focus on the Indian market.
Techstars is a global network that helps entrepreneurs succeed. Founded in 2007 in Boulder, Colorado, the Techstars Network connects founders with entrepreneurs, experts, mentors, alumni, investors, community leaders, and corporate partners to grow their companies.This year, Techstars will choose over 500 startups to join their mentorship driven accelerators around the globe, investing $120K(82Lakh) in each company and providing lifetime access to the Techstars network.
Key takeaways from their experience in India are:
a) India is truly embracing entrepreneurship and increasingly positive sentiment towards it.
b) Entrepreneurship is not limited to a few cities and sectors but is spreading to far corners of the country.

The CBSE 12th Result 2019 released on its official website at cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in.
This year the totals pass percentage for CBSE 12th Result 2019: 83.4%.Toppers - Hansika Shukla (Meerut, Ghaziabad), Karishma Arora (Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh).

JEE (Main) April 2019 paper
The JEE (Main) 2019 (April) Paper- I held April 8.The JEE Main- Paper 2 on April 7 for which around 1 lakh students have appeared.
The paper had three parts:
Part I: Physics - 30 questions, marking scheme (+4 for correct response, -1 for incorrect response, 0 if not attempted)
Part II: Chemistry - 30 questions, marking scheme (+4 for correct response , -1 for incorrect response, 0 if not attempted)
Part III: Mathematics - 30 questions, marking scheme (+4 for correct response, -1 for incorrect response, 0 if not attempted)
All questions were of multiple choice with single correct answer objective type.
